Walking
If you are in the center of Big Sky, start by heading south on Lone Mountain Trail. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Spotted Elk Road. Turn right onto Spotted Elk Road and walk for another 0.3 miles. Historic Crail Ranch will be on your left at 2100 Spotted Elk Rd. Look for the entrance with a sign indicating the museum.
Biking
From the Big Sky Town Center, take the bike path that runs along Lone Mountain Trail heading south. After approximately 0.5 miles, turn right onto Spotted Elk Road. Follow Spotted Elk Road for about 0.3 miles, and you will find Historic Crail Ranch on your left at 2100 Spotted Elk Rd. Make sure to lock your bike at the designated bike rack near the entrance.
Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, check the local shuttle services offered in Big Sky. You can board a shuttle from the Town Center that goes toward the Mountain Village. Request the driver to drop you off at the intersection of Lone Mountain Trail and Spotted Elk Road. From there, it is a short 0.3-mile walk to Historic Crail Ranch, which will be on your left at 2100 Spotted Elk Rd.
