Public Transit
From downtown Billings, head to the nearest bus stop and take the MET Transit bus route that heads towards the Heights. You can catch the bus at the MET Transit Center located at 2800 1st Ave N. Make sure you check the bus schedule as it might vary. You want to look for a bus that stops at the intersection of 24th St E and Main St. Once you arrive there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles northeast.
Bicycle
If you choose to bike, start from downtown Billings. Ride north on 27th St, then take a right onto 1st Ave N. Continue until you reach the intersection with 24th St E. Take a left onto 24th St E and then follow it until you hit Main St. Once you reach Main St, head east for about a mile until you see the entrance of Four Dances Recreation Area on your left. The total biking distance is about 3 miles.
Walking
For those who prefer walking, start at the Billings Public Library located at 510 N Broadway. Walk north on Broadway until you reach 7th Ave N. Turn left and continue walking until you reach 27th St. Turn right on 27th St and follow it north. After about a mile, turn left on 1st Ave N, then take another left on 24th St E. Continue straight to reach the entrance of Four Dances Recreation Area. This walk is approximately 3 miles long.
