Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, and get off at the stop at the intersection of 24th St E and Main St. From there, transfer to Bus Line 8 (Blue Route) towards the Heights Shopping Center. Ride for another 15 minutes until you reach the stop at 219 Rolling Hills Dr, which is the closest stop to Lake Elmo State Park. From the bus stop, it's a short 5-minute walk to the park entrance.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from downtown Billings to Lake Elmo State Park. Start at the intersection of 27th St N and 4th Ave N. Head east on 4th Ave N until you reach the intersection with 24th St E. Turn left onto 24th St E, and continue straight for approximately 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Lake Elmo Dr. Turn right onto Lake Elmo Dr and follow it until you arrive at the park entrance at 219 Rolling Hills Dr. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.

  • Walking

    For those who prefer walking, you can start from downtown Billings at the Billings City Hall located at 210 N 27th St. Head east on N 27th St, then turn left onto 4th Ave N. Walk until you reach 24th St E and turn right. Continue straight for about 2 miles. When you reach Lake Elmo Dr, turn right and walk until you arrive at the park entrance at 219 Rolling Hills Dr. The walk will take approximately 1 hour.
