If you are in South Side, you can reach the Yellowstone County Museum by walking. Start from the intersection of South 27th Street and 1st Avenue South. Head southwest on 1st Avenue South towards South 32nd Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach 1950 Terminal Cir. The museum will be on your left side.

Public Bus
You can also take the Billings Public Transit bus to reach the Yellowstone County Museum. Catch the bus from the nearest bus stop on South 27th Street. Board the bus heading towards the Rimrock Mall. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop closest to Terminal Circle. From the bus stop, walk about 0.2 miles towards 1950 Terminal Cir. The museum will be in sight. A one-way fare is typically around $1.50.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local vendor in South Side. Head towards 1st Avenue South and cycle southwest. Follow the same route as the walking directions. It should take approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the museum, depending on your cycling speed.
