Public Transportation
From downtown Columbia Falls, head to the nearest bus stop for the Flathead County Transit. Look for the route that goes towards East Glacier Park. Get on the bus that takes you towards Highway 2 E. Make sure to inform the driver that you're heading to Glacier Park. The bus will take you along Highway 2, and you will need to get off at the stop closest to 7336 Hwy 2 E, Columbia Falls, MT 59912. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance of Glacier Park.
Bicycling
For those who enjoy biking, start from the center of Columbia Falls and head east on Nucleus Avenue until you reach Highway 2. Turn left onto Highway 2 E and follow the bike lane. Continue riding along Highway 2 for approximately 3 miles. You will see signs for Glacier Park. Once you reach 7336 Hwy 2 E, you will find the entrance to Glacier Park.
Walking
If you prefer walking, it's about a 40-50 minute walk from downtown Columbia Falls. Begin at the intersection of Nucleus Avenue and 1st Street W. Walk east on Nucleus Avenue, then turn left onto Highway 2 E. Follow the road for about 2 miles. Keep an eye out for landmarks like local shops and the entrance signs for Glacier Park.
