Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Kalispell, MT. Head south on US-93 S for about 3 miles. Then, turn left onto MT-82 E and continue for approximately 8 miles until you reach the intersection with MT-35. Turn right onto MT-35 S and follow the road for about 4 miles until you see the access point for Foys Island on your right. Note that parking may be limited, so arrive early if possible.

• Public Transportation + Boat

  If you prefer public transportation, take the Flathead Transit bus from Kalispell to Bigfork. Once in Bigfork, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or ride-sharing service to the nearest access point for Foys Island. From there, a small boat or kayak rental may be required to reach the island itself, as it is not directly accessible by road.
