Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by heading south on U.S. Highway 93 S from your location in Flathead Lake. Continue on U.S. 93 S for approximately 10 miles. You will see signs for Lakeside. Volunteer Park is located at 7225 U.S. 93 S, Lakeside, MT 59922. Look for the entrance on your right. There is no parking fee, and the park is open from 6 AM to 11 PM daily.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Volunteer Park via public transportation, check if there are any local bus services that operate towards Lakeside. If available, board the bus heading towards Lakeside. Ensure to confirm the stop nearest to Volunteer Park. Once you arrive in Lakeside, you may need to walk approximately 0.5 miles south along U.S. 93 S to reach the park. Be sure to check bus schedules in advance as services may be limited.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer biking, you can ride along U.S. Highway 93 S. Ensure you have a proper bike route map as the area can be busy. The ride is approximately 10 miles and should take around an hour or more depending on your pace. Always wear a helmet and follow local traffic laws. There are bike racks available at Volunteer Park.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby in Lakeside, you can walk to Volunteer Park. From the town center, head south on U.S. 93 S. It is about a 1.5-mile walk, which should take around 30 minutes. Be cautious as you walk along the highway, and use sidewalks where available.
