Car
If you are driving from Bozeman, MT, head south on S 3rd Ave towards E Main St. Continue on S 3rd Ave for approximately 2 miles, then turn right onto MT-86 W. Follow MT-86 W for about 5 miles until you reach the entrance to Gallatin National Forest. Once inside the forest, follow the signs for Leverich Canyon. The trailhead will be located on your left after a short drive of about 2 miles. There is no fee to park at the Leverich Canyon Mountain Trail Head.

To reach Leverich Canyon Mountain Trail Head via public transportation, take a local bus from downtown Bozeman to the nearest bus stop that services Gallatin National Forest. From the bus stop, you will need to hike approximately 3 miles along the road leading into the forest. Make sure to check the local bus schedules in advance as they may not run frequently. Once you arrive at the trailhead, you can start your hike. Note that there may be costs associated with the bus fare, so be prepared with cash or a transit card.
