Walking
Start at the Great Falls Civic Center located at 2 Park Dr S. Head east on Park Dr S towards 1st Ave S for about 0.3 miles. Turn left onto 1st Ave S and continue walking for another 0.5 miles. You will pass various shops and eateries along the way. As you approach 10th St S, turn right. Continue for about 0.2 miles until you reach the River's Edge Trail entrance on your left.
Walking
Once on the River's Edge Trail, follow the trail heading east along the Missouri River. Enjoy the scenic views of the river and the surrounding areas as you walk. After about 1 mile, you will see a sign for Black Eagle Viewpoint. The viewpoint is located just off the trail, providing an excellent view of the Black Eagle Falls and the nearby hydroelectric dam.
Walking
To return to Great Falls Civic Center after your visit, simply retrace your steps along the River's Edge Trail back to where you entered the trail. From there, continue back to Park Dr S and 1st Ave S to make your way to the Civic Center.
