Getting There

Public Bus
From Kalispell's downtown, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Main St and 1st Ave E. Take the Flathead County Transit bus that heads towards West Glacier. Ensure to check the bus schedule for departure times. The ride to West Glacier will take about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at West Glacier, the Apgar Visitor Center is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head southwest on Going-to-the-Sun Road, and follow the signs to the visitor center.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Kalispell. Start your journey by heading east on Main St until you reach 4th Ave E, then turn right. Continue straight until you reach US-2 E. Follow US-2 E for approximately 25 miles. The route will take you through scenic views of the Flathead Valley. Once you reach West Glacier, follow the signs leading to the Apgar Visitor Center.

Once you arrive at West Glacier, the Apgar Visitor Center will be located near the entrance to Glacier National Park.
