Public Transit - Bus
From Kalispell, head to the nearest bus stop to catch the Flathead County Public Transit bus heading towards Somers. You can board the bus at the bus station located at 300 1st Ave E, Kalispell. Make sure to check the schedule for the bus times; it typically runs every hour. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the Somers stop, which is near the intersection of Somers Rd and Highway 93. From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.5 miles north along Somers Rd to reach Somers Beach State Park at 558 Somers Rd.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kalispell, such as Glacier Cyclery. Once you have your bike, head northwest on Main St towards 1st Ave W, then take a left on 1st Ave W. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Highway 93, then turn right. Follow Highway 93 north, and after about 6 miles, turn left onto Somers Rd. Continue for about 1 mile, and you'll find Somers Beach State Park on your left at 558 Somers Rd.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, you can start from downtown Kalispell. Walk north on Main St until you reach the intersection with 1st Ave W. Turn left on 1st Ave W and continue until you reach Highway 93. Cross the highway and continue walking north on Highway 93 for approximately 6 miles. Then, turn left at Somers Rd and walk for about 1 mile to reach Somers Beach State Park at 558 Somers Rd. Please note that this is a long walk and may take around 2-3 hours.
