Getting There

  • Bus

    From downtown Missoula, head to the South Transit Center located at 1200 Sherwood St. Board the Mountain Line bus route #6 (Southside) heading towards Fort Missoula. The bus will take you directly to the Fort Missoula Regional Park stop. The ride typically takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off the bus, you will see signs directing you to the entrance of the park.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, start at the Missoula Bike Path located near the Clark Fork River. Head west along the path until you reach the intersection with South Avenue W. Turn right onto South Avenue W and continue straight for about 1.5 miles. The park entrance will be on your left. There are bike racks available for securing your bicycle at the park.

  • Walking

    For those who enjoy walking, begin at the Missoula Public Library located at 301 East Main St. Walk west along Main St until you reach the intersection with Higgins Ave. Turn left onto Higgins Ave and walk south until you reach South Ave W. Turn right onto South Ave W, walking for approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to Fort Missoula Regional Park will be on your left. This route is approximately 2.5 miles and takes about 45 minutes to an hour on foot.
