Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Polson (Main Street), head south on 1st Street towards 5th Avenue. Turn right onto 5th Avenue and continue until you reach the intersection with South Lake Street. Turn left onto South Lake Street and follow it as it curves southward. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles. You will pass several residential areas and some local shops. As you approach the waterfront, keep an eye on signs directing you towards Finley Point Road. Turn right onto Finley Point Road and follow it until you reach 31453 S Finley Point Rd, which is the entrance to Finley Point Unit of Flathead Lake State Park.

• Bicycle

  Start at the Polson City Park located at 11 1st St E. Ride south along 1st Street, then turn right onto 5th Avenue. Continue to South Lake Street and turn left. Follow South Lake Street for approximately 1.5 miles, enjoying the views of Flathead Lake along the way. As you approach the end of South Lake Street, keep an eye out for Finley Point Road on your right. Turn onto Finley Point Road and cycle until you reach 31453 S Finley Point Rd, the entrance to Finley Point Unit of Flathead Lake State Park.

  Currently, there is no direct public transportation service to Finley Point Unit from Polson. However, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service from the center of Polson. Request a ride to 'Finley Point Unit - Flathead Lake State Park' at 31453 S Finley Point Rd. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
