Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading southeast on US-89 S from any location in the Rocky Mountain Front. Follow US-89 S for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with I-90 E. Merge onto I-90 E towards Billings. Continue on I-90 E for about 40 miles and take exit 184 towards Deer Lodge. After exiting, turn left onto MT-1 N. Continue on MT-1 N for about 1.5 miles, then turn right onto Warren Lane. The Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site will be on your left at 266 Warren Ln, Deer Lodge, MT 59722.

If you're relying on public transportation, take the Greyhound bus to Deer Lodge, which is the closest town to the Grant-Kohrs Ranch. Once you arrive in Deer Lodge, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach the historic site, which is approximately 3 miles away from the bus station. Be sure to check the schedule for Greyhound buses as they may not operate daily, and plan accordingly.
