If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Three Forks, MT. Depending on your starting point in Southwestern Montana, you may take Highway 287 or I-90. For example, from Bozeman, take I-90 West for about 25 miles, then take Exit 288 toward Three Forks. Continue south on Highway 287 for approximately 10 miles until you reach Trident Road. Turn left onto Trident Road and follow it for about 1 mile. The entrance to Missouri Headwaters State Park will be on your left at 1585 Trident Rd, Three Forks, MT 59752.
