If you are starting from Bozeman, head south on US-191 S. After approximately 8 miles, take the exit for MT-84 W towards Big Sky. Continue on MT-84 W for about 4 miles until you reach the junction with Palisade Falls Rd. Turn left onto Palisade Falls Rd and follow it until you arrive at the Palisade Falls Picnic Area, which will be on your left. There is no entry fee for the picnic area.

Once you arrive at the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles along US-191 to reach the picnic area.
