Splash into Fun at Big Sky Waterpark

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Kalispell, take US-93 N toward Whitefish. After about 7 miles, take the exit for US-2 E toward Glacier Park. Continue on US-2 E for about 12 miles. You will pass through the town of Columbia Falls. Big Sky Waterpark is located at 7211 Hwy 2 E, just a short distance past the town center. Look for signs for the waterpark on your right.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Big Sky Waterpark using public transportation, start by taking the Flathead County Public Transit from Kalispell to Columbia Falls. Check the local transit schedule for departure times. Once you arrive in Columbia Falls, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to cover the remaining distance to Big Sky Waterpark (approximately 5 miles). Make sure to have a smartphone app ready for rideshare services or contact a local taxi service ahead of time.

• Biking

  If you're feeling adventurous, biking to Big Sky Waterpark is an option. From Kalispell, take the Flathead Lake bike path heading north, then transition to the roads heading towards Columbia Falls. Follow the same route as cars on US-2 E. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic, especially as you approach the waterpark.

• Walking

  Walking to Big Sky Waterpark is only recommended if you are already in Columbia Falls. From the center of Columbia Falls, head east along Highway 2. It's about a 1.5-mile walk to the waterpark, so wear comfortable shoes and be cautious of vehicle traffic.
