Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in downtown Columbia Falls, start walking east on Nucleus Ave towards 6th St W. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hwy 2 E. Turn left onto Hwy 2 E. Walk along the highway, making sure to stay on the sidewalk. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles. You will see Glacier Basecamp Lodge & Campground on your left at 7285 US Highway 2 E. The lodge is situated next to a large parking area, so it should be easy to spot.

  • Bicycle

    From Columbia Falls, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Start your ride heading east on Nucleus Ave towards 6th St W. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hwy 2 E. Turn left onto Hwy 2 E. Follow the highway for about 1.5 miles. The Glacier Basecamp Lodge & Campground will be on your left at 7285 US Highway 2 E. The road has a bike lane, making it safer for your ride.

  • Public Transportation

    Check the Flathead Transit system for bus routes that service Columbia Falls. Look for the bus route that heads towards Kalispell and stop at the nearest bus stop to Glacier Basecamp Lodge & Campground.
