From any point in The Little Belt Mountains, head towards U.S. Route 87. If you are near the town of Neihart, take the MT-89 S road. Continue on MT-89 S until you reach the junction with U.S. Route 87. Turn right onto U.S. Route 87 S. Continue for approximately 25 miles until you reach the town of Hobson. In Hobson, turn left onto Ackley Lake Rd. Follow Ackley Lake Rd for about 5 miles until you reach Ackley Lake State Park, which will be on your right.
