Car
If you're driving from the Whitefish Mountain Resort area, start by heading southeast on Big Mountain Road. Continue on this road for about 4 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 93. Turn right onto Highway 93 South and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. Take a left onto Baker Avenue, which will lead you directly into downtown Whitefish. Follow Baker Avenue until you reach the park entrance on your right. There is free parking available near the park.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedules for the Flathead County Transit system. You can catch the bus from designated stops within Whitefish Mountain Resort. Take the bus towards Whitefish and get off at the stop nearest to downtown Whitefish on Baker Avenue. From there, it’s a short walk (about 0.3 miles) to reach Baker Park. Follow Baker Avenue heading south, and you will see the park entrance on your left.

If you're already in the downtown area of Whitefish, you can easily walk to Baker Park. From the center of town, head south on Baker Avenue for about 0.5 miles. The park entrance will be on your left side. Walking is a pleasant way to reach the park as it allows you to enjoy the local scenery and the charming atmosphere of Whitefish.
