Starting from the Whitefish Mountain Resort, head south on Big Mountain Rd toward Whitefish. Continue on Big Mountain Rd for approximately 6 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 93. Turn right onto Highway 93 South and drive for about 4 miles. Take a left onto Tally Lake Campground Rd. Follow Tally Lake Campground Rd for approximately 5 miles until you reach the campground entrance.

From Whitefish Mountain Resort, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the nearest public transportation hub, which is in Whitefish city. Once in Whitefish, you can take a local bus service to reach the area near Highway 93. However, please note that the nearest bus stop may not be very close to Tally Lake Campground, and you will likely need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare from there to complete your journey to the campground.

For those who are adventurous and fit, biking from Whitefish Mountain Resort to Tally Lake Campground is an option. Start by heading down Big Mountain Rd, then take a left onto Highway 93 South.
