Public Bus
From downtown Whitefish, walk to the Whitefish Depot located at 500 Depot St. Catch the Flathead County Public Transportation bus (Route 2 - Whitefish) towards Whitefish Mountain Resort. The bus will take you directly to the resort. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes, and buses run at regular intervals. Be sure to check the schedule for specific times.
Bike Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Whitefish such as 'The Whitefish Bike Shop' located at 1430 1st St. After renting, head north on 1st St towards Baker Ave. Turn left onto Baker Ave, then turn right onto State Park Rd. Follow State Park Rd, which will lead you directly to Whitefish Mountain Resort. The bike ride is about 5 miles and will take around 30-40 minutes.

For the adventurous, you can walk to Whitefish Mountain Resort. Begin at the corner of Central Ave and 1st St in downtown Whitefish. Head north on Central Ave, which transitions into State Park Rd. Follow State Park Rd for approximately 6 miles, enjoying the scenic views. This walk will take around 2 hours, so ensure you are prepared with ample water and snacks.
