If you are starting from the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone Visitor Center, head east on the paved path that leads towards the South Rim Drive. Follow the signs towards the Upper Falls viewpoint. The distance is approximately 1 mile, and the path is well-marked. You will pass through scenic areas with views of the canyon as you make your way to Upper Falls View.

If you are at the Artist Point, begin your journey by retracing your steps back to the South Rim Drive. Once there, head north along the rim trail. This route is about 0.5 miles and offers stunning views of the canyon. Continue following the signs for Upper Falls as you approach the viewing area.
