Car
Start your journey in Banjani. Head northwest on the main road towards the coast, following the signs to Budva. The drive should take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Budva, look for signs directing you to the Old Town (Stari Grad). You will need to find parking as the citadel is located within the pedestrian zone of the Old Town. Public parking areas are available at the outskirts of the Old Town. Parking fees are typically around 1-2 Euros per hour.
Public Transportation
From Banjani, take a bus towards Budva. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest departure times. Once you arrive at the Budva bus station, exit and walk towards the Old Town, which is about a 10-15 minute walk. Follow the signs to Stari Grad and you will come across the citadel as you enter the historical area. There is no cost for walking, but the bus ticket will generally cost around 2-3 Euros.
