Walking
From the center of Bar, head towards the bus station on the main road (Bulevar Revolucije). Once at the bus station, look for the bus that goes to Kotor. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival at the Kotor bus station, exit and walk towards Kotor's Old Town. Follow the signs leading to Stari Grad (Old Town). As you approach the Old Town, you will see the city walls and the entrance. Enter the Old Town area and proceed to Ulica 1 (Istok-Zapad). Saint Nicholas’ Church is located on this street, and you should be able to spot it easily. The church is a prominent landmark, so keep your eyes open for its distinctive architecture.
Bus
Start at the main bus station in Bar, located on Bulevar Revolucije. Purchase a ticket to Kotor from the ticket booth inside the station. Board the bus heading to Kotor. The journey typically takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Kotor bus station, exit the station and head straight towards the Old Town. Walk through the main entrance into Stari Grad (Old Town) and follow the signs. As you wander through the picturesque streets, make your way to Ulica 1 (Istok-Zapad), where you will find Saint Nicholas’ Church. Look for the church's distinctive architecture as a guiding point.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Bar to Kotor. You can hail a taxi from the street or book one through a local taxi app. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kotor and specify the destination as Saint Nicholas’ Church in Ulica 1 (Istok-Zapad) in the Old Town area. The drive should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kotor, the driver will drop you off close to the Old Town entrance. From there, walk towards the Old Town and follow the signs to Ulica 1.
