Getting There

Once you arrive at the Kotor bus station, exit the station and walk straight towards the Old Town, which is about a 10-minute walk. You'll see the majestic fortress on the hill as you approach. Enter the Old Town through the main gates and walk towards the central square where the cathedral is located.

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Bar to Kotor. Taxis can be found at various locations throughout Bar, including near hotels and popular tourist spots. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Saint Tryphon's Cathedral in Kotor. The ride will take approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic. When you arrive in Kotor, the taxi can drop you off near the Old Town entrance, from where you can easily walk to the cathedral, located in the main square.

  If you find yourself in a nearby area and want to explore on foot, you can walk from Bar to Kotor, although it's quite a long trek (approximately 25 km). Start by heading towards the coast and follow the scenic waterfront road. Be sure to bring plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes. The walk can take about 5-6 hours, and you can enjoy beautiful views of the Bay of Kotor along the way. Once you reach Kotor, enter through the main gates and navigate to the central square to find Saint Tryphon's Cathedral.
