Car
If you're traveling by car from Brda to Durmitor National Park, start by heading northeast on the R-1 road. Follow the signs for Nikšić and continue on R-1 for about 25 kilometers. Once you reach the town of Nikšić, take a slight left onto the E65 route toward Žabljak. Continue straight for about 70 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Durmitor National Park. Make sure to have cash on hand for the park entrance fee, which is around 3 EUR per person.

Public Transportation
To reach Durmitor National Park using public transportation, first take a bus from Brda to Nikšić. The buses run regularly and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once in Nikšić, transfer to a bus heading to Žabljak. This leg of the journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arrival in Žabljak, you can either walk (about 15-20 minutes) or take a local taxi to the entrance of Durmitor National Park. Bus tickets will cost around 5-10 EUR for each leg of the journey.
