Bus
From Budva, head to the main bus station, located on Jadranski Put street. You can walk to the station from anywhere in the city center, as it is well-signposted. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket for Kotor. Buses to Kotor run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Kotor, the bus station is located near the city center. From the bus station, walk towards the Old Town, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the road signs to the Old Town, and you will soon find yourself at the base of the Kotor City Walls.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Budva to Kotor. You can find taxis in the city center or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. The drive to Kotor takes about 25-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kotor, ask the driver to drop you off near the Old Town entrance, where the Kotor City Walls are located.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to enjoy the scenery, you can hike from Budva to Kotor. The distance is approximately 23 kilometers, and the hike can take around 5-6 hours. Start by following the coastal path from Budva, moving towards the direction of Kotor. The path offers stunning views of the bay and surrounding mountains. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water and snacks, as there are limited places to stop along the way.
