Car
If you are driving from Žabljak, take the road heading southeast towards the main P4 road. Follow the P4 for approximately 22 kilometers. You will pass by the beautiful Tara River Canyon on your left. As you approach the Đurđevića Tara Bridge, there will be signs indicating the bridge. Once you see the bridge, you can park at the designated parking area nearby. Note that parking may incur a small fee, usually around 2-5 Euros.
Public Transportation
To reach Đurđevića Tara Bridge via public transportation, you can take a bus from Žabljak to the village of Šćepan Polje. Buses run several times a day, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Šćepan Polje, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers along the P4 road towards the bridge. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Đurđevića Tara Bridge. The bus fare is usually around 3-5 Euros.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle in Žabljak is an excellent way to reach the Đurđevića Tara Bridge. Follow the main road (P4) southeast for about 22 kilometers. The ride offers stunning views but be prepared for some steep sections. Ensure you have a good map or GPS, as it can be easy to get lost in the mountainous terrain. Bicycle rentals typically cost around 10-15 Euros per day.
Walking
If you're up for a challenging hike, you can walk from Žabljak to Đurđevića Tara Bridge. The distance is about 22 kilometers along the P4 road. Plan for a full day, as it will take approximately 6-8 hours depending on your pace. This option is only recommended for experienced hikers. Bring plenty of water and snacks, as there are few places to stop along the way.
