Car
If you're driving from Žabljak, head southeast on the main road (E762) for about 24 km. You will pass through the scenic landscapes of Durmitor National Park. As you approach the town of Plužine, follow the signs for Piva Lake. When you reach the intersection near the lake, take the P14 road which will lead you directly to the Piva lake viewpoint. There is parking available near the viewpoint.

Public Transportation
From Žabljak, you can take a bus to Plužine. Buses are available multiple times a day, and the journey takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Plužine, you can take a taxi to the Piva lake viewpoint. Taxis are usually available near the bus station, but it's advisable to confirm the price beforehand. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes.

For the more adventurous, if you're already in Durmitor National Park, consider hiking to the Piva lake viewpoint. Starting from the nearest trailhead, follow the marked hiking trails that lead towards the lake. The hike can take around 2-3 hours depending on your pace and the trail conditions. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and carry enough water.
