    Walking

    From Herceg Novi's city center, head towards the main waterfront promenade, known as 'Šetalište Pet Danica'. Walk along the promenade until you reach the large square called 'Trg Republike'. From the square, continue straight towards the hill where the Fortress of Forte Mare is located. You will see signs pointing towards the Tvrdoš Monastery. Follow these signs as you exit the city center. The path will lead you uphill through a residential area. Continue walking until you see a sign for Tvrdoš Monastery, which is situated on the left side of the road. The walk is approximately 30-40 minutes and offers some beautiful views of the bay.

    Public Transport

    To reach Tvrdoš Monastery using public transport, first make your way to the local bus station, located near the city center. Look for buses heading towards 'Trebinje' or 'Tvrdoš'. These buses frequently stop near the monastery. Board the bus and stay on for about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Tvrdoš stop, which is marked clearly. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the monastery. Follow the signs leading you directly to Tvrdoš Monastery.
