Getting There

  • Car

    From Komovi, head northwest on the local road towards the town of Andrijevica. Continue on this road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the M-2 main road. Turn right onto the M-2 heading towards Nikšić. After about 5 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Ograđenica. This will lead you onto a smaller road. Follow it for about 20 kilometers until you reach the area near the coordinates 6375+JMM. The Tara Canyon entrance will be nearby, and parking is usually available.

    From Komovi, take a local bus to the town of Andrijevica. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Andrijevica, transfer to a bus heading towards Nikšić. After about 45 minutes, you will arrive at the nearest bus stop to Ograđenica. From there, you can either walk or arrange for a local taxi to take you to Tara Canyon. Make sure to check local bus schedules for updated times, as they may vary.
