Start your journey at the Kotor Old Town, specifically from the main square (Trg od Oružja). Exit the Old Town through the Sea Gate and walk towards the waterfront promenade. Continue along the promenade until you reach the small harbor area. From here, follow the signs for the path leading up to the Vrmac hill. The trail begins near the marina. Be prepared for a steep climb as you make your way up the hill. You will pass through some beautiful scenery and greenery. The trail will eventually lead you to an observation point, which is the View at Kotor from Vrmac. Make sure to take plenty of breaks to enjoy the stunning views.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can take a more rugged hiking route. From Kotor Old Town, head toward the fortress on the hill (San Giovanni Fortress). Follow the path that leads up to the fortress until it forks. Take the path that veers left, which will lead you towards Vrmac. This trail is less maintained but offers a more secluded experience. Keep an eye out for trail markers to ensure you're heading in the right direction. After a challenging hike, you will reach the View at Kotor from Vrmac, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Kotor and the surrounding bay.
