Car
Start your journey in Kuči by heading southwest on the main road leading towards Podgorica. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the M2 highway. Take a left onto the M2 highway heading towards Nikšić. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will see signs for Bukumirsko Lake. Follow the signs and turn right onto the local road leading to the lake. The road will twist and turn through beautiful mountainous terrain. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the lake, where you can find parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
From Kuči, take a local bus heading towards Podgorica. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Podgorica, transfer to a bus heading towards Nikšić. On this route, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop for Bukumirsko Lake. From this point, you may need to walk approximately 3 kilometers along a dirt path to reach the lake. Be prepared for some uneven terrain and wear appropriate footwear.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Kuči to Bukumirsko Lake. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes, and you can negotiate a price with the driver beforehand.
