From the center of Nikšić, head to the main bus station located on Njegoševa Street. Look for buses heading towards Herceg Novi or Dubrovnik, as some of them make stops near the coast. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Prevlaka Island. The bus journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a bit to the waterfront area to catch a ferry or a boat that can take you to the island.

If you prefer a more scenic route, walk from the center of Nikšić towards the main bus station and take a bus to the town of Perast (approximately 1 hour). Upon arriving in Perast, head to the waterfront where you can find boats that offer trips to Prevlaka Island. The boat ride will provide beautiful views of the bay and will take around 15-20 minutes.
