Walking
Start your journey from the center of Nikšić. Head south on Njegoševa Street towards the main square, Trg Slobode. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Vuka Karadžića Street. Turn left onto Vuka Karadžića Street and walk until you reach the bus station, which is on your right. At the bus station, look for buses heading to Ograđenica. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you are going to Tara Canyon. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. After getting off the bus, follow the signs leading to Tara Canyon. The canyon is well-marked, and you will find information boards along the path leading you to the entrance.

Public Transportation
From the main square in Nikšić, walk to the nearby bus station located on Vuka Karadžića Street. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Ograđenica. The buses typically run every hour, but it’s best to check the schedule upon arrival. Once you board the bus, relax and enjoy the scenic ride which lasts around 30-40 minutes. When you arrive in Ograđenica, disembark at the stop closest to Tara Canyon. Follow the signs for Tara Canyon, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
