Getting There

Walking
From the center of Perast, head east along the waterfront promenade (Obala Marshala Tita). Enjoy the scenic views as you walk past beautiful historic buildings. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade where you will find a small road leading uphill. Follow this road uphill while keeping an eye out for signs directing you towards Kotor. After a short uphill walk, you will reach a fork in the path. Take the left path which leads you towards the Ruins of St. Nicholas Monastery. The ruins will become visible as you approach the site, located on a hilltop overlooking the bay.

Walking
Alternatively, if you are near the Church of St. Nicholas in Perast, exit the church and turn left onto the main road (Ulica 1). Walk along this road for approximately 10-15 minutes until you reach a sign indicating the path to the monastery. Follow the path that leads uphill and enjoy the lush surroundings. The ruins will be located at the top, providing a stunning view of the bay and surrounding mountains.
