Walking
If you are starting from the Perast waterfront, head east along the promenade (Obala) towards the eastern end of the town. Continue walking towards the entrance of the small alley that leads up the hill. Look for signs indicating the direction to Tvrđava sv. Križa. Follow the path that begins at the end of the alley, which will take you up a series of steps. The ascent can be steep, so take your time and enjoy the views of the bay. After approximately 15-20 minutes of walking uphill, you will reach Tvrđava sv. Križa, which is located on a hilltop overlooking the town.

Alternatively, if you are starting from the central square of Perast (Trg 21. Novembar), head towards the main road (M2.3) and take the first left into the narrow street that leads uphill. Follow this street as it winds through the local houses. Keep an eye out for directional signs. The walk should take about 20 minutes. You will eventually arrive at Tvrđava sv. Križa, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area.
