If you are starting from the city center or the main bus station in Podgorica, begin your journey by heading southwest on Njegoševa Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Bulevar Svetog Petra Cetinjskog, a major road. Turn left onto Bulevar Svetog Petra Cetinjskog and walk until you see the large pedestrian area. Keep walking straight until you see the large green space known as 'Trg Republike,' which is often bustling with locals and tourists alike. Independence Square is just a short walk from here. As you approach, you will notice the square is marked with the address '2 Novaka Miloševa'.

From the main bus station, you can take a local bus heading towards the city center. Look for bus numbers 1, 2, or 3. Get off at the stop 'Trg Republike' (Republic Square). Once you disembark, you will be very close to Independence Square. Exit the bus and walk straight ahead towards Novaka Miloševa Street. The square is located at the address '2 Novaka Miloševa,' just a short walk from the bus stop.
