Getting There

    From Šavnik, head northwest on the E80 road. Continue for about 17 kilometers until you reach the junction to the R-1 road. Turn left onto R-1. Drive for approximately 22 kilometers. You will see signs for Durmitor National Park. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the park entrance. The total driving time is around 40-45 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions.

    From Šavnik, take a local bus heading toward Žabljak. Buses typically run several times a day, but it’s important to check the schedule in advance. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Žabljak, you can either walk or take a taxi to the entrance of Durmitor National Park, which is about 5 kilometers away. The taxi fare should be around 5-10 Euros.
