Car
Starting from Šavnik, head southeast on the main road (E80) towards the town of Mataruge. After approximately 10 km, you will reach a sign for Mataruge. Turn left onto the road leading into Mataruge. Continue straight for about 2 km, and you will see signs pointing towards the Meandri Ćehotine viewpoint. Follow these signs and park your car in the designated parking area before the viewpoint. The viewpoint is a short walk from the parking area.

From Šavnik, take a local bus towards Mataruge. Buses run several times a day, but it’s advisable to check the current schedule. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Mataruge, you will need to walk towards the viewpoint. Follow the road signs for Meandri Ćehotine, which will guide you along a scenic path that takes about 20 minutes to walk. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.

If you are already in Mataruge, you can walk to the Meandri Ćehotine viewpoint. Start at the center of Mataruge and head towards the river. Follow the path along the riverbank, keeping an eye out for directional signs for the viewpoint. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes and offers beautiful views along the way. Ensure you have appropriate footwear as some sections may be steep.
