Car
From Šavnik, head southeast on the main road towards Nikšić. Continue on this road for approximately 30 km until you reach the town of Nikšić. Once in Nikšić, follow the signs for Kotor, which will direct you onto the E65 highway. Stay on the E65 for about 50 km. When you arrive in Kotor, take the exit towards the Old Town. The Ruins of St. Nicholas Monastery are located just outside the town center. You can park in a nearby lot and walk to the monastery.

Public Transportation
Start by taking a local bus from Šavnik to Nikšić. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and tickets can be purchased from the driver, costing around 2-3 euros. Once in Nikšić, transfer to a bus heading to Kotor. Buses run frequently and the journey will take approximately 45 minutes. In Kotor, get off at the bus station. From there, the Ruins of St. Nicholas Monastery are a short taxi ride (about 10 minutes) or a 20-minute walk from the bus station. Taxis can be found outside the station and typically cost around 5 euros.
