    From Tara River Canyon, head southeast on the local road towards the village of Šćepan Polje. After approximately 15 km, you will reach the intersection near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. Take the road that leads to the town of Žabljak, which is approximately 30 km away. Follow the signs for Durmitor National Park, which is well-marked as you approach Žabljak. Once in Žabljak, continue on the main road through the town, and follow the signs directing you to the park entrance.

    From Tara River Canyon, you can take a bus to the town of Žabljak. The bus station in the canyon is located in the village of Šćepan Polje. Buses run several times a day to Žabljak, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Žabljak, you can either walk or take a taxi to the entrance of Durmitor National Park, which is about 5 km away from the bus station.
