Getting there

Walking

From Tivat, head towards the Tivat Bus Station located near the city center. Once you reach the bus station, look for a bus heading to Budva. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon reaching Budva, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, walk straight down the main road (Becici Road) towards the coastline. After about 10 minutes, you'll reach the end of the promenade. Look for signs indicating 'Fort Mogren' and follow the path leading up the hill towards the fort, which should take around 15 minutes.

Taxi

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from Tivat to Budva. Simply ask your hotel or any local to call a taxi for you. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Budva, ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to the Old Town. From there, you can walk towards the coast and follow the signs for 'Fort Mogren', which is a short walk of about 10 minutes along the promenade.

Public Transport

You can catch a local bus from Tivat to Budva at the bus stop near the Tivat waterfront. The buses are frequent, usually every 30 minutes. Take the bus to Budva, and once you arrive at the bus station in Budva, exit and head towards the main road. Walk straight until you reach the coastline; this will take about 10 minutes. Follow the waterfront promenade and look for signs leading to 'Fort Mogren' as you walk along the coast. The fort is about a 15-minute walk from the promenade.
