Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Herceg Novi, walk towards the bus station located near the main square. Once at the bus station, look for a bus heading to the direction of Kotor or Tivat. These buses frequently pass through Pobori. You can purchase your ticket from the kiosk at the station or directly from the driver. After about 20 minutes of travel, ask the driver to let you off at the stop for Pobori, which is a small village. Once you get off, walk approximately 15 minutes uphill along the main road. You will see signs directing you towards Manastir Stanjevići. Follow these signs, and you will reach the monastery.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Herceg Novi. Once you have your bicycle, head southeast towards the main road that leads out of the city. Follow the road as it curves along the coast towards Kotor. Continue for about 6 kilometers until you see signs for Pobori. Turn onto the road leading up to the village, and cycle for about 10 minutes. The monastery will be visible as you approach, located slightly elevated in the area.

• Taxi

  For a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi from Herceg Novi to Manastir Stanjevići. You can find taxis available near the main square or call one using a local taxi service. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and the driver should know the location. Simply inform them that you want to go to the monastery in Pobori. Once you arrive, the taxi can drop you off directly at the entrance of Manastir Stanjevići.
