Getting There

• Bus

  From Tivat, head to the bus station located in the center of town. You can ask locals for directions, as it is a well-known landmark. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket for Podgorica, which usually costs around 5-10 euros. Buses to Podgorica run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Podgorica bus station, exit the station and you can either walk or take a taxi to Petrovic Castle.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Tivat to Petrovic Castle in Podgorica. You can find taxis around Tivat or ask your hotel for assistance in booking one. The drive will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting the journey, which should be around 30-40 euros.

• Train and Walk

  Another option is to take a train from Tivat to Podgorica. Start by walking to the nearest train station in Tivat, which is situated near the waterfront. Once you arrive at the station, buy a ticket to Podgorica. The train journey takes about 1 hour. After arriving in Podgorica, exit the train station and take a taxi or walk to Petrovic Castle, which is approximately 2 kilometers away. Walking will take around 25 minutes.
