From Tivat, head to the nearest bus station located at Trg od Oruzja 1. Take the bus heading towards Herceg Novi. Ensure to check the bus schedule for the next departure as they can vary. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop for Perast. After disembarking, walk towards the waterfront and follow the signs leading to the Sokol grad. The fortress is approximately a 20-minute walk uphill from the waterfront.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Tivat. Provide the driver with the address: Torac 1B, 20215, Dunave. The ride will take about 20-25 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

For those who enjoy a scenic walk, you can walk from Tivat to Dunave, although it is a long trek of approximately 11 kilometers. Start from the Tivat waterfront and follow the road leading out of the town. Keep walking along the coast until you reach Dunave. Once in Dunave, ask locals for directions to Sokol grad, which is well-known in the area.
