Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main promenade in Tivat, head towards the bus station. Once you reach the bus station, look for bus number 60 or 61, which goes to Herceg Novi. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride along the coast. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Herceg Novi bus station. From there, walk straight down the main road (Njegoševa Street) until you reach the intersection with Prve Bokeške brigade. Turn right onto Prve Bokeške brigade, and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will see Kanli Kula (the Fortress) on your left, with its distinctive stone structure.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from Tivat to Herceg Novi. Taxis can be found near the main promenade or called via a local taxi app. The drive will take around 20-25 minutes. Once you arrive in Herceg Novi, ask the driver to drop you off at Prve Bokeške brigade. From there, Kanli Kula will be a short walk away - just head towards the fortress which is visible from the street.

  • Public Transport

    Take bus number 60 or 61 from Tivat to Herceg Novi. Buses usually depart from the main bus station or along the promenade. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Herceg Novi bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the main road (Njegoševa Street). Continue straight until you reach Prve Bokeške brigade, where you will turn right. After a 10-minute walk, Kanli Kula will be on your left-hand side.
