If you're starting from the center of Tivat, head towards the waterfront promenade known as 'Obala'. Walk along the promenade until you reach the end of the marina area. From there, you will see a pathway that leads to the hills. Follow the signs that indicate the direction of 'St. Ivan Fortress' as you start ascending the hill. The path is well-marked and surrounded by beautiful views of Tivat Bay. It will take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach the fortress. From Tivat, you can take a local bus that goes towards Kotor. Get off at the stop for 'Špiljari'. Once you exit the bus, look for signs pointing to 'St. Ivan Fortress.' The bus journey will take about 15-20 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop to the fortress will take another 20-30 minutes.
