Cinéma Rif: A Cultural Haven in Tangier

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Asilah, head towards the main road that leads to Tangier. You'll want to walk towards the bus station, which is around a 15-20 minute walk from the town center. Once you reach the bus station, look for a bus heading to Tangier. The buses regularly depart and the ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Tangier, disembark at the main bus station. From there, you can either take a taxi or walk to the Cinéma Rif. If you choose to walk, head towards the Grand Socco square; the Cinéma Rif is located on Pl. du 9 Avril 1947, just a few minutes from the square.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, head to the taxi stand in Asilah, which is located near the town center. Take a taxi to Tangier, which should take around 30 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver to take you to Cinéma Rif at Q5MP+GQV Grand Socco, Pl. du 9 Avril 1947. Taxis are relatively affordable and will drop you off close to the entrance.

• Bus

  To travel by bus, start at the Asilah bus station, which is a short walk from the town center. Look for the bus heading to Tangier, which departs regularly. The bus journey will take about 45 minutes. After arriving at the Tangier bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to Cinéma Rif. If walking, head to Grand Socco and then to Pl. du 9 Avril 1947 where the cinema is located.
